decadent fudge brownies infused with sweet peppermint
INGREDIENTS
- ORGANIC POWDERED SUGAR: 3½ cups
- Spero Sunflower™ Cream Cheese: 1 tub, The Chocolate :D (or substitute The Original + ½ cup of cocoa powder)
- VEGAN BUTTER: 1 cup
- PEPPERMINT EXTRACT: 1 tsp
- CANDY CANES: 8, crushed into small pieces
DO ITTT
- LINE an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.
- HEAT the butter, powdered sugar, & Spero Sunflower™ Cream Cheese in a large sauce pot over medium heat until the butter melts. *Don't let the mixture boil or burn!
- STIR constantly until smooth, then remove from heat & stir in the peppermint extract & crushed candy canes, leaving some to the side to garnish on top at the end.
- TRANSFER immediately to the prepared dish & chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour or overnight until set & ready to serve.
- TOP with more crushed candy canes before serving.
